Why can I watch YouTube videos on my smartphone without buffering issues but when I wanna watch a 90 or 2 hour film I do encounter buffering issues? How can I remedy this problem on my Samsung phone? What can be done so I dont have this problem?

Hi @josemiller, welcome to CF

Generally buffering is caused by your connection from your device to the server hosting the video not being fast enough to watch it in real-time. YouTube is run by Google who have lots of money to spend on servers and network connections, depending on where you are getting your videos from that are buffering, they may not have those resources.

What service are you using to watch videos - a well known site or something more specialist?

watchseries.id why? Where online can i watch american films without all this b.s.?

Your best bet would be a commercial service such as Amazon Prime or Netflix. Anything else will generally offer a poor experience as they are often at best legally dubious.

Then why did my neighbors dsl connection that has at least 100 mbps download speed had no issues buffering this site?

How can i make the download speed on my samsung A01 phone blazing fast.......!!!!!??
So, this phone ‘only’ has Wi-Fi b/g/n (Wifi 4) connectivity so it will never be super fast, but should be enough for video streaming.

Wi-Fi will only work at the speed of your internet connection. If you’ve got a 2 meg DSL line it’s always going to be slow compared to fibre internet.

But is it my phone or the websites??

If only one or two sites result in buffering, it's more than likely to be the sites, or your connection to the sites.

If all video sites work poorly, then it could be your phone or the internet connection you are using with your phone.
